Pug 106 Vs Porsche 944 Carrera

that Pug (my car) had from performance parts only sport suspension, modified ECU and exhaust, nothing else, even no racing intake or sth... that means around 130HP/920kg... hard to say what exactly was in that 944...

I'll chime in here because I have a 944.

The 944S2 didn't have an inline-6, it had a 3.0L inline-four which made around 210HP and about 200 ft/lbs torque which makes it a pretty balanced car in terms of driveability.

It is unlikely that this is a 944 Carrera because that was the car that won its class at LeMans in 1982.

This looks to be a 924 Carrera or clone thereof, which orginally had a 210HP turbo-four.

A 911's flat engine wouldn't fit in the 944, but most anything else will.

guys the 944 cab was quick and very good looking - and by the way, that pug must be well modified to be able to keep up.
944's are indeed a cheap way of picking up a porsche but you cant underestimate the torque of the N/A straight six S2 - its was a pretty potent mix giving 0-60 times of under six sec (just) - thats no slouch.

no that would be the 914 hahaha. 944 NA's are slow, but a 951 on the other hand is no slouch

I donn't think a 911 flat 6 would fit without serious work ...however I have seen a V8 944. Still, a 944 with a 911 3.2 flat 6 (or a V8) would of been far quicker down the straight the 944 simply wasn't pushing that hard - see the way that 911 Turbo went past both of you. It's certainly quicker than a stock 944 (not sure if it was an S2) but no by that margin.

Your Pug corners quickly though! ...you just need rear wheel drive and another 120BHP (or so)!!

first of all a carrera has a flat 6. how u gonna get that in a 944. second u didnt show the part where the 944 passed the pug again. third that pug sounds like a stressing piece of S**t french garbage patoooweeyy

It´s because of the engine, it wasn´t stock 944, but with engine from Carrera...

There is no such thing as a 944 carrera.
