Eckhart Tolle - "Can I Be the Space for This?" - Part I

I have to commend Oprah for being the messenger with her "endorsement" of Mr. Tolle's books. I watch Oprah once in a while and one of the days I happened to watch the show I heard her talk about his new book "A New Earth". I immediately ordered it and "The Power of Now". I have now read both books and am on this site.... I feel so fortunate to have this knowledge. I had been looking to move ahead and these books were wonderful. Thank you Eckhart and Oprah for making me aware of this philosophy.

the wonderful thing about Oprah's 'endorsement' of A New Earth is how it is impacting an entire new culture of people reaching to make connection with the present moment through Eckhart's work.

Just the other day I saw a very rushed, busy, and beautiful business woman very dutifully picking out A New Earth at a book store. I thought, "Oprah.. you saint."

where will this wonderfully lead?

yes, wondeful. so you are taking the Oprah classes? are you planning on tuning into the eckhart talks in march as well?

I am excited about the potential of the "presence" doing it's work with millions through live global simulcast events like these!

Oprah and Eckhart reaching millions....Do you see how amazing this is? This IS world transformation!!! Don't listen to fear! Let the old be dead and invite in the new...its here!!!

The Truth as Eckhart realises he is, cannot be touched by anything or anyone. There is no way that Oprah or anyone else can "get in the way" of true presence. Whatever appears with the forms does not matter....the presence does its work

I believe that Oprah will get in the way of Eckhart's prescence. Unfortunately, it's her show and not his. I will pay for his live web event just so that I can have a clean experience .

yeah, me too. I got a lot out of part 2, and the idea that the mantra is a QUESTION.. I answered the question once, Can I be the Space? yes. OOPS! ha, that wasnt nearly as interesting as just asking the quetion and then not answering it..

bebaM! this is a wonderful AWESOME video.. I watched it a couple days ago and it has totally revolutionized the way I engage with conflict and stress! I love it!

what does that mean? Eckhart speaks in such a way, holds such a space, that I really dont see how ANYONE could steam-role over that power.. PLUS, Oprah is a very sensitive and open being, tuned in, to an extent. I think they will do a wonderful dance together!

kind of, I just REALLY enjoy and get a lot out of Eckhart's talks, when we have the chance to really tune into his wisdom, space and perspective. I dont see how Oprah wont get in the way of that... I mean the CONCEPTS will be outlined sure,.. but it's for Oprah's book club, as opposed to the presence community

well I believe that might have been Zigo's point - There is something far more interesting, spectacular and wonderful about being able to spend the moment in encounter with Eckhart.. a true presence. I dont know about you, but I don't get the sense that Oprah has ever authentically been the 'space' .. she has a certain 'look at me-ness'.

it IS wonderful to see these live webcast events manifesting. With Oprah's Eckhart classes though, it makes the idea of paying for the broadcast kind of mute though, doesnt it? I believe her classes are free...

it's cool to see this kind of a live-stream event showing up. While the Oprah classes seem interesting, I am excited about being able to engage live with Eckhart through his meditative encounters.. it's amazing, I always walk away with such a deepened sense of it all.. Looking forward to the day!
