Alberto Vargas (1896 - 1982)

Vargas Girl is synonymous to all things related to the pin-up art. First published by the Esquire in 1940, this Peruvian son of a photographer, painted the male imagination during the war effort.

From the 40's to the 70's this renowned painter helped to shape the American girl concept of beauty.
