i don't mean to be agruemenative, BUT, this guy is way to safe a bassist to even be mentioned alongside claypool. no placement for mike watt? there'd been no rhcp, sublime, all those other cool bass driven rock bands. mike watt should be a the top of every bass players fans list!

I agree. Making music on programs such as garageband and FL studios and others like that requires ALOT of musical talent. If you don't know what C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C means, then you're basically screwed XD.

Jonas Hellborg should be at the top of that list.

Think making music on a laptop is easy? Especially music as good as Squarepusher? and as original too? Do it and show me.

If the only thing that your ranting against is being 'new' and 'different', then I suggest you go back to being a caveman and live the 'unchanged' lifestyle.
