Translation:
Bocelli: I was in a TV program in America participated in, really, by all the greatest American artists. You might be wondering what I was doing in their midst, but surely I was there for a reason (laughter). Someone approached me in my dressing room and said, "Look, you should come and listen to an extraordinary voice, a young girl with an incredible voice. I'm usually skeptical about these comments but I went to check out and at the end of the song, there was an incredible standing ovation! I went to congratulate her. She thanked me and candidly told me, "I would like to sing with you". I asked her, "What song would you like to sing with me?" She responded, "The Prayer". Well, Mission accomplished! Ladies and Gentlemen, Charice is only 16 years old. For the rest, you yourselves make the judgment. (Music introduction. An Italian lady quips, "Oh my God, great, it's a song that I'm familiar with.)

    To people that are saying Charice did not sustain the high notes towards the end, it's the way they render the song. Here's the clip of Bocelli/Josh Groban duet of The Prayer at the Grammys. Notice how Josh paused,barely noticeable @ 3:18. What a duet.

    I just checked coolsmurf's blog and learned about YouTomb. There you can see the deleved videos, why it was deleted and who asked for the deletion. I saw Charice's Paul O' Grady performance and it says the video was removed as requested by SBS due to infringement. I was like what the heck? Since when SBS and Paul O' Grady became "related"? What's happening to YouTube nowadays? Is it becoming a Hitler?

    I have a niece who is a very good singer but much to our dismay she does not want to be a professiona singer.She has a very soft,girly speaking voice but when she sings she has this booming,powerful voice.How I wish I could let the others hear about her talent.My point here is her tone is not fake.If some people came up to me and told me that her tone is fake I would be livid.The same is true with Charice it is a gift to sound like that and the most amazing thing is people can't believe it.
