No matter if you love or hate Tyson, his skills were artwork in all sense of the word. Jail truly broke the man down - it's shame to wonder what he could have done if never being locked up.

It's also sad those who were closest around him were ther for money, only to leave when Tyson had nothing left to offer. Too bad people judge Tyson as the man he was, rather than his skills.

I really think mike was one of a kind. Not just his personality but the physical skills he possessed. It really is sad to think about the way this mans life went down.

It's a shame that, as soon as he reached his prime and became an adult (the Spinks fight), while fighting so perfectly during that contest, he fired everyone around him that honed him that way, and literally flushed the chance to be the greatest of all-time down the toilet.

There isn't a heavyweight in history that he couldn't have messed up in his prime. Sadly, we never really got to see him at his best.

I know he had to retire because of his problems and stuff, but my God there was no one like him in terms of spectacle and his ability in the ring. At least in my generation.
