from the way it looks, it all is in fun. Everybody is having a good time and u cant tell me that u haven't ever messed around and fought with one of your friends just like they are doing. Well u might not have friends if u keep listening to that throw up music .

ok seriously the very beginning of tough as john jacobs is dallas shoving some guys head into hay and then that guy tackles dallas' feet out from under him then again at 2:50 the guitarist is wrestling with some one then dallas comes up behind him and drop kicks him. also i counted the beers. there were 5

ok douche bag. you are just pissed because there are better southern hardcore bands.. which maylene isn't really "southerncore" as you put it, lol. its hard to even tell between the verse and the breakdown, or what your thinking a breakdown is btw the pronunciation in holly springs disaster is twice as better. they just choose not to during breakdowns. so they don't sound like half ass southern hardcore bands like maylene.

oh yea and holly springs disaster is good if u like the sound of throw up and not being able to understand most of what they are saying. They have sweet guitar playing, but thats it. Maylene is soo much more talented than them.

in tough as john jacobs i see one beer, and no one is drunk. Everyone is rocking out and nobody is fighting one another. Everyone is just having a good time. So Qlockwork before you comment u might want to make sure what ur saying is correct.

go listen to the lyrics of the songs like caution: dangerous curves ahead. Then tell me if they are not a christian band.

actually Aaron came in a few practices later, be cause Dallas and two other guitarist had it going to start out with and then the minister of the church knew Dallas and was like " hey Dallas do you know Aaron he could drum for your band so you guys can become one of the most influential bands for hardcore music and sub-genres of all time" lol...not really but it was something along those lines

IMO The Holly Spring Disaster is better, and no, i don't think they are Christian. i know Dallas was in Underoath but look at the video for "Tough As John Jacobs." they are partying, getting drunk, getting into fights. thats pretty hypocritical to me.
