yes the spinner is fixed it is the old motor of a washing machine with very good barings
it takes very little energy to move it ,ps sorry but i dont do vids.not yet anyways

iv done this with barings and a motor off a washing machine and it works better than this
but you still have to keep moving the magnets
i got about 400 rpm not bad someone else please try it and we can exchange notes
to make it better.the magnets i used were out of some old speekers

I think under this application there is no motor small enough. The spinning top doesn't seem to have much power and attaching anything to it would only stop it. You would have to have a rather large magnet apparatus to see if it works.

I agree with you. Maybe the energy came from his hands. How about stick the small part to a motor and see it produce energy or not.

With better materials and a better design this would be perfect.By I have to agree with trash mouth below that it is lacking because of you having to move your hand and fidget with the device.Other than that nice job!

However, 1st isn't the energy coming from your hand free? And 2nd, is it possible that the energy it puts out is more than the energy required from your hand?

Pretty kewl but how is this not free energy... loks like it spins on its own to me.
