damn i was talking 2006 but thats still crazy i didnt know that traxxas is a ripoff though, but their engines are good and strong, i dont know much about electrics but does that 2007 rustler have a brushless motor from the factory

The 2006 Rustler has been tested at 35mph on a 7 cell pack with no modifications and the stock motor, while the 2006 Stampede is said to go 31mph. My tested speeds were just shy of these numbers. The 2007 VXL (brushless) Rustler goes over 65mph on a 3-cell pack with no modifications. The 2007 VXL Bandit goes over 70mph, while the VXL Stampede is the slow one of the bunch at just over 60mph out of the box. Check out Traxxas' site for details & videos.

not true to my understanding all the traxxas electric cars are slower than 30 mph at least in 2006 andthe fastest one is the twin motor emaxx monster which is extremly powerful, ohh and i chked uot ur website, pretty cool but i dont know about the quality and performance other than that their worth it for how cheap they are

True, electrics are slower out of the box unless you get a kit and put in a good motor system, or unless you get a Traxxas VXL Rustler or Bandit or Stampede and go 60-75mph, out of the box, with wheelies on command at 40mph+.

nah not really, unless their extremly modified i own electric and gas, electric are slower out of the box, but with mods, yes thats true they can be faster than gas, but it takes alot of work. bottom line if u want a real sounding, fast and realistic gas is better, but if u want an electric than its also a good choice

Also, all of the fastest and quickest RCs in the world are electric :)

I'm quite aware that these are for kids. And I think kids and their interests are as valid as us adults. RC Mania is dedicated to toy-class RCs since no other site covers them properly. I have 6 other sites dedicated to hobby-class RC.

get a real nitro rc bike instead of these electric toys, electric are for kids

the best battery rc bike was the tyco motocross with jermey mcgrath the back wheel had a gyro so you can take it on/off road and on jumps when it fell if the gyro was spinning it would get right back up and it was fast
