Lyrics: Hold your grandmother's Bible to your breast.
Gonna put it to the test.
You want it to be blessed. And in your heart, you know it to be true.
You know what you gotta do.
They all depend on you.
And you already know.
Yeah, you already know how this will end.
There is no escape,
From the slave-catchers' songs.
For all of the loved ones gone.
Forevers not so long. And in your soul,
They poked a million holes.
But you never let em show.
C'mon it's time to go. And you already know.
Yeah, you already know how this will end.
Now you've seen his face. And you know that there's a place, in the sun, for all that you've done, for you and your children.
No longer shall you need.
You always wanted to believe,
Just ask and you'll receive,
Beyond your wildest dreams.
And You Already know.
Yeah, you already know
How this will end.
You already know (You already know)
You already know (you already know)
You already know-how this will end.

---I don't claim rights to the song...so don't delete it. Thanks

  • This does not even ...

This does not even come close to what the actual loss feels like, but it still shows that the creators understand to some small extant the losses dring war. And if anything, the glorification of war can only be blamed upon children, teenagers, and young adults who quickly launch the franchises to fame through sales. Society loves fight, whether it be in an actual war or through a video game.

  • Obviously, in a ...

Obviously, in a utopian society, the glorification of war would be frowned upon. Unfortunately, postings numerous complaints about it on youtube will not make even the slightest impact.
And war games do not try and belittle or make light of the sacrifices that brave soldiers make everyday. On the contrary, in many a war game, when a fellow soldier who is one of the players companions dies, his passing is often dramatized to the full sentimental effect possible in a video game.

  • And listen, to all ...

And listen, to all og you who are criticizing war games, give me and those that actually have a functioning mind a break.
If you do not like the game or approve of its message, then please, by all means, do not buy.
Do not let your children, or your children's children buy it.
Explain the "evils" of war to them.
But please stop trying to impose your pacifistic and/or bible thumping ways upon the mainstream.

  • I completely agree. ...

I completely agree. Computer games shouldn't glorify war. War should be shown to people for what it is, For what is happening to the men and women who people in todays world seem to care little about. I think it is disgraceful the way this country (Britain) treats/displays the efforts of our servicemen and women overseas. Children today need to learn about every inch of what goes on in Iraq/Afghanistan
    and so on..

My respects to the family/Friends of Alex Lucas.

And my utmost respect to him.

  • to all of you who ...

to all of you who try and deny and/or belittle war, just know that war is a neccessity of human life, as is almost every form of conflict. As Sylvmeister said, it is written in our DNA. There will always be two sides to every story or event, and often times both sides are to arrogant or ambitious to admit their wrong or leave well enough alone. To try and deny our basic instincts as humans would to try and deny how, according to Christians, God made us.

  • "if people dont ...

"if people dont wana die in wars dont join the motherfucking army!! simple."

Absolutely. Those brave men who do join up know what they're signing up for and they don't complain. I just on't think games like this are respectful to the very real challenges they face.
