Kudos X1000 go to extremely talented and kind-hearted artist. Jose, I was trying to play your 'jazz' every since I was 10. I'm 50 something now and still love to hear whatever you play! As for picks vs fings; you guys probably clap after a command performance, too. Jeesh!

Quantity (50 players using a pick for each player using hands) means nothing. It only means there are less players learning classical guitar. It is not hard to coordinate your fingers if you learned and trained as you do when playing classical. Don't you think that if it is faster all classical guitar players would be using a pick?

show me a guitarist that can do it with his fingers and i'll show you 50 that can do it with a pick. it's far more difiicult to coordinate all your fingers than to move your wrist. it really just comes down to playing preferance i guess though. and in order to play that fast with your bare hands you need to build up some serious calouses.

It is actually harder to play 50 notes per second with a pick than with the five fingers of your right hand.

I always see him play using only the fingers - started playing when he was 4 - Guitar Player Mag pop guitarist of the year 6 times - brilliant, forget the fact he has sold over 20 million albums as a singer also.
