it could be a mix, but mine is full bred and looks very similar. I've also seen videos of basenjis playing in the water before. MOST hate water but.. as anyone with a basenji knows that also hate to be predictable lol

i think this may be a pharoh hound or a mix. aside from the lack of hydrophobia, the ears are too floppy and the body too lanky...

and my basenji is brendal dark brown back markings and a white stare on his neck!! with 4 white paws. cuttiiiiiiieeeeee!

yes, i agree it could be a mix. looks a lot like my mixed basenji. perhaps chocolate lab or red doberman...

WOW! My basenji steers clear of the bathtub and running water. She runs and hides when it's time for her to get a bath.

wow...looks exactly like my basenji (not the standard coloring)...plus, after much trial and error, we learned that she tolerates the baths much better when the water is HOT, she still won't go near the tub if the water is running but loves attacking the drain afterwards in a similar digging fashion....gets water everywhere, crazy pups

The dog kinda looks more like a mix in this video, its to dark to see the coloration, but it looks either to dark, also its build does not look much like most basenji's, and the tail is not what they usually look like.

Ah, a rare basenji who doesn't mind water! My third basenji I own now doesn't mind water, but my first two thought water was evil LOL

Haha!... very funny... you know this Basenji must be a mix cause A) you'd only catch a B getting into water if there was a tiny bit left to lap up and B) this one seems to be missing the breed standard of 4 white paws.
