When the SX4 crossover debuted last year, it elevated the theme left off by the Aerio SX, and continues Suzuki's leadership in offering the least expensive all-wheel-drive car in the US, and new for '08 is this variant called the SX4 Sport, offering sedan styling with an emphasis on, you guessed it, sport.
I buy a quicksilver one a week ago the car drives awesome, like an european car but the power is'nt to much for me, my past car was a Jetta VR6 and I feel soo slow. whatever its slow its a nice looking car with too much options for the price, and will be my daily drive car for the next years!!
By vw4evergt [Affiliate User] 1220819473why did Suzuki use the smaller J20A(02-03 aerio) engine and not the J23 from the 04-07 aerio

By ABXPONCE [Affiliate User] 1211998672next time instead of bitching about the weight DONT HIT A TREE. christ on high more people complain about how well small cars do in crashes instead of avoiding them all together.
By Golf3rM4n [Affiliate User] 1211998161it is too light... i hit a tree at 25 mph or less and it turned over. and was a total loss. when you go 75mph + the wind wants to turn it over maybe it needs a factory spoiler.
The engine is really good and responds well. The brakes are awesome, the sound system is great (8 speakers+ subwoofer)and style is good.
everybody likes it and it has a great trunk beleive it!

By critical9 [Affiliate User] 1211575220I drive an Aerio and i fully agree with you 100%!

By LillianColwynnsc [Affiliate User] 1208927379i bought an sx4 4 days ago and i bet i will kick your ass in my 5 speed sx4 sport.
By ABXPONCE [Affiliate User] 1208714647The Aerio isn't as "eager"? I beg to differ. The Aerio has 152 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 rpms, and accelerates like a scalded cat. Way more torque, and lower in the rpm range than this Suzuki. More hp as well....155. This Suzuki is a nice looking little car, and seems like it would handle very well.... but my five-speed Aerio is a lot "more eager".
By Hako2004 [Affiliate User] 1205341461Interesting review....even if a little mis-guided. My Aerio, which is apparently "not eager" has 152 ft/lbs at 3000 rpms....way more than this Suzuki's 136. I accidently squeal the tires every other day.
It also has 155 hp at 5300 rpms. I can short-shift at 4000 rpms and still beat most compacts.....all on the big torque.
If this Suzuki had torque and hp that was closer to my Aerio....I'd buy it tommorrow. But, I figured that Suzuki wouldn't cowboy up...and they didn't. 2 bad
