Tesla Electric Supercar

No - semantics aren't about opinions. Those are typical supercars: Mclaren F1, Koenigsegg CCR, Porsche CGT & SSC Ultimate Aero TT. It's a different concept.

Tesla is simply not a supercar.

The problem is that you are using top speed as your only measure of fast. I used to own a Porsche 924, and later a 944. I've also owned a Maserati Biturbo... and the Tesla would cream all of them in handling and accelleration. Top speed is a very, very small part of the equation. In the real world, you'll find yourself utilizing accelleration and handling far, far more often than you'll find yourself cruising at 140mph.

It's still funny that a supercar is only slightly faster than my dirt cheap Porsche 924 + brutally much slower than my cheap SAAB

In other words... it's about maintaining speed through handling and accelleration, not about top speed for a small stretch.

Infineon, Laguna Seca... most tracks that have more to them than just a straight and a left turn or two. There are very few places on these tracks where 130mph can be exceeded by any car.

What track?

Yep. Accelleration and handling are a lot more important than going over 130mph in a straight line in this country. This car would outrun many exotic "supercars" on the track.

A SUPERcar that does 130?

They're just a start-up w/o the economy of mass production and scale, the est'd big auto cos won't do this. Relax, they need the seed money.

But the electric sharging i 20 times cheeper than the fuel is these days,...And its getting more,more, and more.
