I hate to use adfiller's page for a debate, but here it is. Art. I (the LEGISLATIVE branch, Biden), Sec 3, P. 4, "The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided." The role of President of the Senate is a powerful one that VPs haven't exercised lately. If she chooses to do so, she wouldn't be expanding powers. The flexibility is the choice of serving in this role or not. She's right-Biden's wrong. Deal with it.

How bout YOU read it? It is clearly written that the only power of the VP is to preside over the senate and break tie votes. She said at the debate that she was glad that the Constitution 'gave flexibility' so that she could have 'more power if (the VP) so chose to exert it'. FYI every time Dick Cheney has tried to reinterpret the Constitution the courts have shot his effort down deeming it unconstitutional. @least if Mccain wins there'll be something interesting in the courts to watch.

Question is...does she? Or are these bits of info the things that she memorised before going to the podium? Anyone can memorise a speech and prepared answers. She is a terrible choice and a disgrace to all women. I would support Mccain if he had picked a more capable Republican - and compared to Sarah Palin he could have closed his eyes and pointed to any one.

It's not an expansion of power. Please read our Constitution before you choose who you want to defend it.

Um... she knows Article I of our Constitution does NOT establish the Executive Branch like the lawyer and 36-year Senator claimed (SCARY!!). She knows it's rude to call Bosnians "Bosniacs" and she knows television wasn't invented in 1929. Until the VP debate I couldn't figure out how the done-nuthin' half term Senator/campaigner wound up at the top of the Dem ticket -- now I know!

Sarah kicked Bidens butt. She showed Biden and Obama flip flop and lie so much they will screw this country. I laughed when Biden claimed we kicked hezbollah outta lebanon.. the stupid liar...he claims to know foreign policy but Sarah Palin knows it better...and she doesn't have to lie to show it.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. ... 143 days. Yet you think he is qualified just because he can read a teleprompter.

Palin will rise to the challenge. Just as well as old "57 State" Barry Obama ever could.
