  • Although ...

Although understanding where body parts go is important for an analytical player, the key is to change those thoughts into sensations to allow you to perform. That feel in particular you will get from the "leverage Power" video which uses the uphill shot to allow you to feel this correctly. Thanks for the comment! Shawn

  • Hey Guys; Good ...

    Hey Guys; Good question!
If you look at my "golf pro lesson Swing Plane" video, you will see my stance on the one plane swing...please consider that I have spent 7 years in the mid 90s studying Moe's swing and spending time with the ultimate "one planer"
Once you truly start understanding this, you will see that these techniques apply to the "HUMAN BODY", which is "YOUR INSTRUMENT". 2 other vids to understand are "No bones about it" and "Be a solid ball striker"; Shawn

  • wondering the same ...

wondering the same thing - especially after looking at how your left knee is moving sideways not forwards. Should I be "ignore" your instruction if I am trying to be a 1-plane golfer? Or just know which bits to take away and those to leave?
    Thanks for the great videos!

  • Shawn, I must ask ...

    Shawn,

I must ask does your tips apply to the single plane swing.

I have tried the two plane swing since I started and it feels very awkward. I read some articles on the single plane swing and I must say it feels much more comfortable swinging with that technique. Please advise. Thanks.

  • Hi Shawn, thanks ...

Hi Shawn, thanks for all the great analogies in your vids. I was wondering your perspective( maybe a teaching segment) on " the moment of truth". I heard a tip of keeping your back knee and hip in line at impact helps with effortless power staying connected with your core. It also can provide more consistency. TY

    Hi Terry! Thanks for that!
It sounds to me like you are standing up out of the shot in the backswing or in the downswing...have a look at the "Golf Pro Lesson Don't Keep your head down" video for a couple of good tips in this area; Shawn

  • Shawn- When I ...

    Shawn-
When I address the ball I have the heel of the driver next to the ball, but when I hit the ball it is more centered or near the toe. What am I doing wrong? The DVD is great along with the other videos you've done. I have told everybody that is interested in golf to look you up. Thanks again! Terry

This is where you need to understand about the tilt in the swing; on my website's You tube Shawn page, have a look at the "Proper Spine Tilt", "braced Tilt" and Braced Tilt Part 2" videos...it will explain a whole lot to you about why you are taking big divots...Shawn

  • If you look at the ...

If you look at the "Grip 2 wrist hinge" video you will get a better idea; I never looked at it that way but you could say that it would face more at the ground at the top of the swing but this would be too subjective...also have a look at the arm motion video...Shawn
