ZR1 Goes 200+ MPH! - 2009 Corvette ZR1 Top Speed Run

first off donisthabomb, you need to speak english and not jungle talk, and the vette is and always has been truly and the only real american sports car. Has been since the first one rolled off the line in 1953. you should change you name to donisthefuckingrtetard. I am guessing you are some 20 year old kid that thinks a F**king honda civic is a sports car.

there are tons of videos on here that show its true potential. im just telling all the idiots to shut up about not redlining it as if it effects what he's shooting for which is top speed.

and u act like there is that much of a difference, if he redlines it, he gets to whatever speed in whatever gear only .5 secs faster. so whats the big huff

i think from all the guys here commenting on how F*g the driver looked driving that sweet car.....ur the only F*g and H**o here that didnt want to see how fast that car can top the speedo......he all know that redlining the gears doesnt change the top speed, but one thing is to get to 200mph the way he did, and another way is to get to 200mph redlining that beast..and actually see its true potential....so in this battle you lost F****t .....

dumb F**k accelerating hard to get top speed only means u put the engine in more stress. a steady way to top speed is the best way to go. what did u want him chirping in 2nd and 3rd for. im sure he knows what he's doing and doesnt need corrections from an internet kid

And you think you can tell, listening on a youtube video, the ZR1 red lines at like 6,500rpm, an M6 is about 8,800rpm, there is no need to red line it anyway, you just waste energy, that said the ZR1 is still the best car in the world for that kind of money, no other stock car in the world combines that handling with the straight line speed.

pushing that car to the limits.....that cae will top that speedo in less than 40 secs......

listen to the engine, he isn't at WOT the entire time, not even half the time for that matter.

Makes no difference, in fact once your past 3rd gear it should improve how fast you get to 200mph, i was suprised at how slow it was 120mph - 200, in the exact same shift patterns my M6 is faster, not around the track though.
