Annette B is best known for her melodic Lovers Rock music. She recorded her début single at the tender age of 15 with Philip Gadd New Talent Records.
Annette B then signed to various record labels such as UK Bubblers a subsidiary of Greensleeves and Ariwa Sounds, and released an album entitled Suggestive Movements and a hit single Fairy Godmother released by Charm records/Jet Star.
During her heyday, Annette B had live coverage on Children In Need and other TV programmes. She won the Black Music Awards for best female reggae singer for three consecutive years.
Annette B had the pleasure of recording an album in the USA with the late Reggae Master Sir Coxsone Dodd on the Studio 1 record label. But before the release - for what ever reason - Annette B decided to put down the microphone and stopped singing.
