It shows what anger can do.
1. The man has central obesity.
2. He can't solve a problem and blames the machine.
3. Vents his anger and damages the machine.
4. There is an independent witness.
5. He hasn't learnt a thing and has damaged his physiology with 1400 toxins which harm him immediately and for the next 6 hours.
7. He is using fight or flight - the jungle behaviour (Our ancestors used this mechanism 250000 years ago as hunter gatherers). It is the basic default mechanism in the least evolved part of our brain. For the next 6 hours he will be secreting Cortisol, the killer stress hormone increasing his BP, Heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer risk factors.
STRESS is not what is happening to him: it is STRAIN. (Han Selye, the discoverer of Stress, 52 years ago said ' It is not the swimming or the electric shocks that kill the mouse - it is the anticipation)It is our emotional response to the external events that kills us. Even Young's Modulus in Physics says STRAIN = STRESS/ELASTICITY. SO the more supple you are emotionally the less you suffer. (Think of the farmer you stuck to his land in the middle of the M62!)
