yes, i always sweep back after an arpeggio tapping lick, it is something i started doing some years back when i was working on arpeggio sequences.

do you pick on the way back up after the tapped sweep? for ex: :20 into the song?

there are a few things i go for as far as that is concernerd, when i pick a actually pick the string with the flat of the pick as opposed to picking on an angle, it is a bit more difficult however it elimantes alot of pick noise allowing for a cleaner sound, also i economy pick alot of my stuff and that also cuts down on pick noise and allows me to go for a smoother attack on the strings!
