  • kinds of relates to ...

kinds of relates to my life. All started when i sold myself slowly away to satan on the internet. First, I kinda stopped reading His Word, and got engaged in non christian music. (rock). then I stood. Vulgarities became frequent. Harsh words and mood swings. Even sexual immorality on the net. Then I sat. I became 'anti-christ'like, mocking believers and trustin in Satan, until a fellow sister brought me back, home. =D

  • Hi WisePillow, Sin ...

Hi WisePillow, Sin has a price and that price is consequence. We can enjoy God's grace and mercy through His forgiveness, but we still have to live through the results of that sin. An adulterous relationship for example will cause immense damage that requires a great deal of hard work to rectify so it is far better to resist temptation in the first place than pay a hefty price for the damage that sin will cause.

A really great message. I am always amazed at the insights God's word can give us if we take the time to look deeply into His words. You explain the 'slow fade' so well.

  • No WisePillow, we ...

No WisePillow, we are not gone forever. God is very much in the restoration business. I was in 'slow fade' but because I came back to him on bended knees He rescued me and now my life is more awesome than I ever thought possible. 1John 2:24 states "See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father." The more you press into Jesus the more He will hold you firm. Obedience to His word will sustain you.

He is absolutely right. It is a slow fade. The question is, Can we rise again? Or, are we gone forever? I wish he could have answered my question in his vid.
