    who cares about where he is vs henry. the unfortunate truth is that henry is past his prime now, whether torres is as good as he once was is irrelevant. what matters is that torres is fantastic, clearly the best striker in the world at the moment, a joy to watch, and a humble guy who is loyal to his teammates and his club. ill take his 33 goals, loyalty and desire to better his game over ronaldo any day.

    You can't compare players in past with current players, and certainly Torres is one of the best now, if not the best stand-alone striker, with both power, pace, and finish. Is Henry one of the best ever? Sure, but Torres is much better right now, and could get there in a few years. This is the same as the Ronaldinho vs. Messi argument, we can't keep ourselves in the past just because a player used to be good a few years ago...
