    You do not crochet over the yarn. It is just carried up a round without cutting the yarn. It just saves from sewing in a bunch of tails.

    Another question; you mentioned carrying the yarn along- do you actually carry it through the round or do you just let the unused color hang in the round's starting stitch and pick it up when you ned to change colors? (if you understood that ;D)

    I tried making this hat but it came out in a size more fitting for a 5 month old baby than a young adult size head. You mentioned somewhere that for a bigger size, I'd just have to increase the number of SC in the very beginning, the ones in the magic loop.
    I was wondering if this would alter the pattern, meaning would the increases be in the same spots?
