    call of duty 4 was mainly produced by infinity ward as treyarch the usal developer took a year off so call of duty designers decided to do a one off, not expecting it to be as big a hit as they thought then when treyarch came back they did another wwII but then decided (thankfully) cod 6 is going to be modern warfare 2
