sorry for a late reply but what you said about the kid deciding to not commit suicide because he realizes he would be killing his whole family.lit's true. my sis hung herself about 3 yrs ago. our whole family died when she did. we are still healing from her going. they way they all flew back was how all our lives went. we all fell. not wanting to live our lives. so if anyone is thinking bout it, don't because your just being selfish. think of all who love you and how it will impact there lives.

I am recovering from OPEN HEART SURGERY & I'm using this song as my "Rallying-Cry"...even if the subject matter is different, the ATTITUDE to "Rise Above This", and to "Mend Myself Before It Gets Me" definitely strikes A CHORD...Awesome lyrics!
