    My father was in Shermans in Italy, during WW2, and told us how one of their tanks brewed up at Casino. From the way he described it, the tank went up in a similar fashion to the target tank in this clip. He also said that when they were later able to get to the tank, there was literally nothing left of the crew. That was in the days when most battlefield anti-tank weapons fired only lumps of high-speed metal.
