here's a guess to what it means:

In the beginning the camera glides and shows us shots of things that are dead. When it arrives on the children, the camera light, and angle change. And finally when they kiss, and the water comes down, its showing happiness because of love. Love brings things back, which I'm pretty sure is why they shoot back over the table and show that things are new again.

That's just my take on the video.

This video always brings a tear to my eye, I'm not sure why... I think it's the symbolism of renewal of not just life, but of love, too.

The video is not pointless, btw, to the one who said that. If you pay close attention, there's a lot of meaning in it.
