    The lyrics of this song go right under my skin, tingle there and then travel on to poke me in the heart. My stepfather died in 1987, when I was 15. I never liked him until shortly before he died. He died of cancer and it all went so fast I didn't have time to tell him that he was a great guy after all. When I first heard this song I cried and wished I could go back in time and thank him for who he was.

    I lost my dad in April 1995 and he was an awesome man.I miss him every day but I always think of him in a poaitive way.I think I was honoured to have him as my dad and I feel sorry for those on this page who say they did not have a good relationship with their dad.We are 2 of the lucky ones.We had dads who were brilliant.Good luck now and always.Take care.
