He was a pioneer and it doesn't matter what the point of his actions were, he gained the utmost adrenaline and pleasure from it. It was his life and he lived it as he wanted, who out there reading this could say they didn't have the inhibitions to do his accomplishments. So shut up and respect!!!

He survived what most would consider a lifetime of skiing and I think if he were to go back in hindsight knowing he would eventually die doing what he did, he'd have no regrets and do it all over again. Just watch the interview where he said he would do it all again after dislocating his hip 6 times.We all take risks every day. And the greatest risk of all is not taking one. Just ponder that for a moment before jumping to hasty conclusions.
