    You have a good point. A wolf pack would be more likely... There are wolves that have been exiled from their pack and they also go after dogs. I cannot be sure about a game pit vs a wild wolf.. In Alaska the largest wolf caught was 170 lbs a large game pit is 60-70lbs... I would bet on the wolf. However the Irish Wolf Hound aided in the extinction of the wolf in the British Isles. In Rome ancient records state that the Wolf Hound was as fierce as the a Lion in fights.

    You do know that all test done with woves biting stuff was out of fear, not on command.Mind set plays 50% of the recorded bite force. Plus, I would bet my car on a game pit that can bite harder than a wolf.

    as told by sejdaren this is not true. Wolf's biting force is the most higher then all others kinds of dogs. Generally all dogs are scary of a wolf and if wolf stay so far is because is an animal reserved and not aggressive
