Steven Gerrard is an absolute class above. But his mental side to the game is brilliant too. The man has everything from unbelievable shooting to defence splitting passes. Of course fans of Man U etc. will disagree but truthfully everyone knows he is one of, if not the best player in the world! Hopefully England will see the Gerrard we know now under Fabio:D

He is a good tackler, but sometimes he miss and he get's many unnessecary cards because he's late. He hasn't got the gratest goals either. He has got a heavy shot, but players like Ronaldinho, Kaka and Cristiano has that little extra and scores som magical and greater goals. He got magnificent passes, shots and freekicks, but he misses pace and skills.
I am probably going to get some negative comments about this comment, but he is ONE OF the greatest players on the planet, but there is better:)

Have loved him since first saw him on tv in 2001 scoring against Germany, seen him play live many times and he makes me want to support Liverpool. He may or may not be the greatest in the world but he's definitely the best player in England.
