This is a really simple way to mod your guitar hero world tour drum set to be more sensitive. Most GHWT drum sets are messing up with the red pad and this is step by step instructions to fix them.

    dude we are trying to do what you did to fix our drum. But for some reason some of the screws will not turn and remain in there and others have too deep of holes. How did you get past this problem?

  • The problem I had ...

    The problem I had is that the connection wires underneath the pad. The wires are held in with cheap silicone. The best solution or what i did was to make new wire connections and tape them to the silver receiver. Anyhow my red now works awesome for me I suggest redoing your wires. I think its a simple manufacturing defect from cheap "glue" and not enough wire being exposed to the silver receiver
