Coach Norman Dale(Gene Hackman): Pre-Game Motivational Speech at Indiana Regional Finals Game in the movie Hoosiers. SEE ALSO: The 1954 Milan Indians - The Real "Hoosiers"

Oh, did they? That would make my statement incorrect. I was just basing it off of humor and irony. You see if they won, that would be just like every other movie, where the hero wins, and the protagonist is destroyed.
When the hero loses, people actually feel something. Thats what makes a good movie.
A.
You're missing the humour in what I just said.
You're also rude, and the way you choose certain words shows clearly who the moron is. You lack creativity, personality, and intelligence. Anyone can curse.
I was merely making a point that after this whole speech just given, out of irony they lost. I guess you missed that.
A.
Uh,......Actually they won

By vc15ao4 [Affiliate User] 1204752748 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyeah that would be tight..i mean no doubt that are plenty of teams in kentucky will tradition and pride within their town..but as a whole i just think that indiana will always have the upper hand..and yeah when 2-a-days was cancelled by mtv..mtv contacted 3 schools in indiana for basketball..north central (eric gordons senior year)..new castle (best tradition of any school in the nation 10,000 seat gym..largest in the world.5,000 season ticket holders..and muncie central (8 state championships.
By vc15ao4 [Affiliate User] 1204752720 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIll give you that for the past decade or so Indiana has definately had the talent edge...but im not sure im ready to concede that Indiana has more passion....We would fill gyms that were meant for 1,000 with upwards of 2,500....My home gym seated 5,000+ and we usually got about 3000 to each regular season game.....One thing is for sure...ESPN could make a really good documentary over this debate....like follow a school from each state for a full season or something
By yoyospecs [Affiliate User] 1204741294 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeim not trying to prove anything here..i just love this state and its basketball..i also appreciate kentucky basketball as well
By vc15ao4 [Affiliate User] 1204740831 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesellouts start in regional round which continues on to state..even big sectional games are close to sold out (first few games of tourney)..also, were not even talking about girls too! regional games are packed and semistate games are sold out (6,000 minumum semistate capacity for girls semistate)..then at state this year we had 9,000 attened the first 2 games..and 11,500 attend the second..
By vc15ao4 [Affiliate User] 1204740804 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesorry yo yo..when indiana basketball was thrown into seperate classes it did put a damper in peoples emotions for while..but indiana high school basketball cannot be touched.ive been to rupp during the sweet 16..very cool; but there is just something about the talent, emotion, and passion in indiana has seperates it from the rest of the basketball world..
By vc15ao4 [Affiliate User] 1204740651 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenot as good as KY high school basketball....we still have 1 class system...sweet 16 in Rupp Arena....just cant beat it
