Aans16 explaination is quite good, The ring is not solid and can be opened. So when he switches finger he simply openes the ring on the side witch we do not see, and then attaches the ring to another finger. At 3:40 you can see that he holds the now opened ring with his thumb and middle finger so that the ring does not fall of his finger, and at 3:50 you see that he has to close the ring on his finger before he can show it to the audiance.
