There have probably been hundreds of covers done of the Bee Gees disco hits over the years, but what caught my attention on this album was that Paul Sabu was a part in the making of it. I figured that since this was a full blown orchestral cover of the Bee Gees, it would be interesting hearing what Sabu would have to add to it. (Obviously a disco flavor, since Sabu made a disco album in 1979)
And since I love orchestral disco, I picked it up. (Still sealed, for $5 at a used record shop)

I haven't found any information or reviews of the album online, so it's clear that no one except maybe for me, gives a hoot over it.

From the album - "Maestro Dragons' versatility as a symphonic arranger-orchestrator is clearly demonstrated in "The Bee Gees Music" album. Three ballads ("How Deep Is Your Love", "Emotion", and "Songbird") have been given rich orchestral settings while in no way altering the music as originally written. On the other hand, utilizing the full resources of the Glendale Symphony Orchestra and working in close collaboration with producer Harry Balk and Sabu...the creation of disco renditions using the digital process was, according to Dragon..."a most rewarding experience and a sheer delight!"

My favorite song from the album is "Stayin Alive" (which by the way is my all time favorite disco song anyway). But "Shadow Dancing" is a real treat to, and I plan on posting it in the future.

The record was still sealed, so what you are hearing is the first time this individual record was played.
