  • and possibly lead ...

and possibly lead by the tech boom?

"And as it happened, the 90's was, good stuff was coming along, there was alot of technology that was, we had a nice economic boom."

    WOW! What an oxyMORON!

  • Then...after ...

Then...after Scarborough brought up the republican congressional separation of powers, Krugman started calling the economy idealogically grid-locked....

"But it turned out that the harsh divide between the parties meant that nothing much happened."

  • Did Krugman just ...

Did Krugman just use the clinton administration as an example of welfare/keynesian economics working, debunking the anti-New Deal philosophy of the great depression....

"We had a perfect test of your theory, Clinton raised taxes in 1993. And everybody on the right said "disaster, disaster". And what we actually had was an incredible period of job creation and growth that followed."

  • Poor Joe looked as ...

Poor Joe looked as bad as the last time Mika's father told him his knowledge of foreign policy was "superficial." Best not to take on a Nobel Prize winner, about his subject, on national TV.

  • So therefore any " ...

So therefore any "solution" derived from Pelosi or most Republicans, is contained within this sphere of ideas. So they will come to an agreement on how much money is spent, but they will not address the ACTUAL problem, which is the Federal Reserve. Abolishing it, is the solution, so you have congressmen Kucinich and Congressman Paul calling for these ideas, and they are dubbed "extreme" It's a system, you have to know who the enemy is.

  • Malcolm X, among ...

Malcolm X, among others, rather observed the system of govern that the rich employs on the world. Lord Shelbourne, of the East India Trade company, actually set the foundation for it. He understood how Julian the Apostate governed Rome, and it is how the "corporatocracy" controls things today. Thats why there are always 2 sides, the Limbaugh's or the Pelosi's, the Israeli's or Hamas, the rights or the left, and any 3rd party is considered "extreme".

  • You are ...

You are generalizing. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party have been converging for years. However, Nancy Pelosi is not the same kind of democrat as Obama or Clinton. Pelosi and her crowd represents Felix Rohatyn, George Soros, and the rest of those Wall street hounds, much like many republicans do. If you oppose the system blatantly you will get nowhere, such is the case of Nader, and Paul, and others.

  • The republicans and ...

The republicans and democrats have been converging politically for years. They're like the fox and the wolf, as Malcolm X correctly observed.

And what politicians do in there personal lives has nothing to do with they're politics .

Clinton like Bush, did what was deemed necessary, at the time, to protect the interests of the billionaire families that own and direct a majority of the economy/ productive capacity, in general.

And we'll see the blush on the rose fade quickly with Obama

F**k Obama and his "Stimulus Package"! First it was $850 Billion in the House then jumps to $950B in the Senate then the media says a "DEAL" has been made of $825B.. so they lowered it only $25B and Ben Nelson thinks its GOOD? F**k YOU BEN and F**k YOU to any Democrate or Republican that votes for borrowing Billions to put our grandkids in debt to China who is loaning this money to us! Taxpayers ALREADY LOST over $400B given to banks and NOTHING HAPPENED! How much MORE are you going to WASTE?p

  • Glass Steagal was ...

Glass Steagal was ended UNDER Clinton, but that doesn't mean he ended it. The republicans were behind getting rid of it, they managed to do it because Clinton at the time was weak because of the whole Monica Lewinski scandal. If republicans are coming at you because of a blowjob, it pays to see what they are doing underneath the table while your getting blasted on "ethical" issues.
