  • This was of course ...

This was of course true at the time but things have moved forward since then with a greater understanding of the benefits of running a balanced salt blend and adding calcium, bicarbonate and magnesium to keep the balance correct. The new salt has a magnesium level of about 1380 and is so important for keeping the calcium and dKh in balance, making the calcium more available to the corals.

  • The corals are ...

The corals are placed with some long tongs and then glued in place with Aquascape epoxy - see our web site. This provides a strong base for growth without worry about it being knocked over or falling over when it gets too large. The glue dries to a purple coralline algae colour so it blends in with the rock.
