Just because you speak to one agent at the ATF does not make what they tell you the law. A written determination from the Tech or NFA branches or from Sterling Nixion is what determines that laws. And information is not illegal in the US. It is in NO WAY illegal to have videos, books, descriptions or diagrams on how to preform a conversion. Having the parts and weapon to do so is another issue though.

As a licensed manufacture of NFA items, dealing with the laws and regulations everyday, I can tell you that you have no idea what you are talking about. Despite the fact that he lives in Europe, what if the individual works for a manufacturer as well. You jump to comclusions about things you have a small part of the story about and spread internet rumor as fact.
