I'll admit this was my first real attempt at creating help, at my level and at the time, there wasn't a lot I knew.

well, my comments dont really count as spam, as they dont say the same thing, and I had to divide them up in 3 segments as youtube wont allow comments > 500chars.

And it seems you missed my point, no matter how "many" improvements you post, you should still not have posted this video, as you clearly lack the ability to explain what is going on in it. But don't worry I'll review the other vids and give props if props are due, or critique if needed.

This was filmed and uploaded more than a year ago. I've recently uploaded a THIRD tutorial on user registration, recaps on my improvements, my better use of knowledge, etc.

Your comments are a year late.

There is nothing good about this tutorial, and someone with such a bad grasp on how things work should really not be teaching others.

First of all, that first if was just plain stupid, novice programming. || and == are NOT pronounced as "or or" and "equals equals", but simply as "or" and "equals", as | is "bitwise or" and = is "assign".

but those things seemed trivial in comparison to when you connected to the database twice for no apparent reason, and that you had to check to see how the two most basic mysql functions are used in your prewritten txt file.

I don't want to be mean, or rude, but this was horrible. It may be the worst tutorial I've seen to date. Where to begin? there where so many problems with your way of explaining and the code you wrote. it was horrible from beginning to end. So let me give you a rundown of why.

dude thats crapy you did not even difine the connect strings correct it should be host = "localhost"; then down to the next connection string that way you have one file called conf.php with them strings in and recal them in over filess dude i seen you looking at another code so you could recap on the code your writing. bad bad coding
