I don't mean any offense by stepping in on a discussion I know little about, but why is it unlikely. Virtually every person in industrialised nations have access to the internet and if this guy's dad was involved in the composition of the music it is higly likely he sees it on Youtube and comments on it.

That's not true (that all the music was written for Animusic.) Look at Cathedral Pictures - it's a classical song called Pictures at an Exhibition. I know I've never heard the ringtone, but this song still sounds familiar.
