Yelè (in the middle of the water) Paya at Kyauktan, 21 km south from Thanlyin or Tanyin (Syriam), near Yangon, Myanmar. Legend has it that flood water never reaches its terrace. Take a covered ferry boat with an outboard motor or a sampan to the paya, pray before the Buddha, make a wish before Shin Upagok (Upagupta - patron saint of sailors and seafarers who protects everyone from harm), and feed the catfish before you return for a refreshing coconut or ice apples.
