this whole war was a huge F**king mistake in teh first place

as if life isn't suffering with us, the new occupants, the new oppressors, lingering over there? the consequence of pulling out will most likely by all out civil war between rival islamic radical factions, sunnis, shiites, the whole lot. many more will die. but if we stay, the US wastes more time, money, and lives, many more iraqis die as well. it's a lose lose situation. there is no upside to staying. so you pick.

Actually we have not, but if you want to get technical we have been in the middle east for several decades.

That is not up to the enlisted Marine, Soldier, etc. We go when and where we are told.

war is always corrupt! so many civilians and innocent people have died.. F**k WAR. we need to end this war. We can deal with this in another way. Diplomats! since the saddam has been overthrown already, it's possible.. lord.. we're not the ones in war territory so all you who support the war, think again.. we need to stop this as soon as possible.. staying isn't gonna benefit anyone! except "protect" the pride of the US.. the world hates the US anyway! so what is there to protect..
