he sealed away his memory to protect lucia, the mermaids and his friends from mikeru finding out about them so mikeru wouldnt hurt them.

The only thing I was able to understan perfectly was Luchia's part:
She said the name of the flower and then she said: "From who could it be? Could it be Kaito?!" and then Shara sid "Thank Godness (or like that's really good Luchia)"
and Kaito told Mikaru that they were going home in a taxi, that is why he was not in the bus with Luchia.
