She sings alright though..

She's not that great. There's a lot of flaws in her singing. Yeah, I know that's she's only 6. But, honestly people are giving her WAY to much like praise like she's a god. I'm pretty sure the only reason people love her so much is because she's little and cute. No one would be able to bash her on live television. Who would have the balls :P

This is so bad. I mean, she's got a lot of potential for her age, but currently she does NOT deserve that much credit. She can't be hold her notes, can't hold the high pitches, phrasing was poor, could go on forever.

See my comment above. Today (3 May 08) Connie performed in front of a huge live audience in Hong Kong. She performed two songs, one as a duet. It was very beautifully done and is on YouTube - Search "Connie Talbot TVB" - She is a growing star and is winning fans worlwide.

saintmerryweather45, I wouldn't call it WAY off key. In fact, I thought she was pretty much on pitch after that one somewhat harsh high note near the beginning. Of course, she does have a bit of a trill/warble going on to cover up potential pitch problems, but it's a pleasant trill/warble. She also may have been a bit nasally at first, but I thought she opened up quite well as she went on. Bear in mind she no doubt has a tiny esophagus that might give the false impression of nasal singing.

Anyone insulting her is crazy, she is 6 years old, has a beautiful voice and has the courage to sing in front of millions and still be wonderful knowing they and people at home are watching her
