Canned Heat - On The Road Again (feat. Alan Wilson)

This is my Canned Heat favourite...i adore it!!!

It's a bit like coughing, but then inhaled. It takes a bit time to master, but it is not impossible. I do think the Blind Owl is the first harp player who really build a style around this technique. Little Walter & Big Walter and other players before him used this technique already, but they did not use it as much as he did I guess.

he died weeks before joplin and hendrix and also at the young age of 27.

if you mean literally by plane crash, kid, no one in canned heat died of plane crash. actually, the band is still active today with fito de la parra as the only remaining original member. please google the band and you'll see all the info you want about canned heat. it is great to know that you discovered this fantastic band. try to watch their woodstock 69 performance and i guarantee that you will like them even more.
