This totally unique, enchanting, meditative and spiritually and uplifting album, consists of an amazing selection of ancient traditional Jewish songs, mystical Shabbat melodies and exhilarating Jewish Klezmer music, all arranged and performed on my replica of the Lyre of the Ancient Hebrews...

This amazing Biblical Lyre is known in Hebrew as the "Kinnor" - the Lyre once played by King David himself, 3000 years ago, as he danced before the Ark of the Covenant; and later, during the actual time of Jesus, the Kinnor was played by my very own, very ancient Levite ancestors over 2000 years ago, to accompany the almost legendary singing of the Levitical Choir in the Temple of Jerusalem...

According to the writings of the 1st century Jewish Historian, Josephus Flavius, who actually witnessed the Levites play their Kinnors in the Temple of Jerusalem, the Kinnor had 10 strings, made of sheep gut. For full details, please visit my new official website:

This first in my series of 5 promotional video for my album, features tracks 1 and 2 from the album, The video starts with "The Music of Moses" - a spontaneous lyre improvisation, based on an ancient Egyptian pentatonic scale, dating back over 3000 years ago...

The second track in the video, is of my arrangement of the haunting traditional melody of "Kol Nidre"; traditionally sang at Yom Kippur. This piece is in the enchanting Jewish "Ahava Raba" mode...

Jewish Mysticism is more popularly known as Kabbalah; according to the Kabbalists, each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet has a unique, transcendental and spiritual significance - therefore, I have decided to record 22 tracks for this album; to match each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet...

Shalom, Salaam....PEACE!

This instrument has a unique quality. It reminds me a mixture of a guitar, a harp, and even sometimes it has a drumming effect into it. It sounds so rich... thank you for posting this wonderful performance!

  • The 1st piece heard ...

The 1st piece heard here, which I named "The Music of Moses" on my album, is a spontanous improvisation on an ancient Egyptian minor pentatonic scale, as deciphered by the late Professor Hans Hickmann of the Museum in Cairo - almost exactly the same scale is still heard in Japan today!
