    Thanks littlelady60 and mickeysgirl61. A good book about what it was like in the Pacific war is " BULE JACKET in harms way from Guadalcanal to Tokyo " by John A. Hutchinson. My dad read this and you'll know what it was like. The good and the horror of that war.
