dude...that was very impressive even though as the name implies i have an obsession with yo yo tricks, etc, i also try to devote time to playing guitar and im not a very easily impressed person but i do have to say well done (by the way all of you people who know zilch about the guitar its called tapping so dont hate on my boy)

why do japs always have to do everything better.

The clavichord works the same way. It was prized for its expressive ability, which was lacking in the harpsichord. The piano came later to solve the problems with the earlier keyboards. The harpsichord lacked expression, and the clavichord was too soft for anything larger than a modest living room. Dynamic expression in the harpsichord can be somewhat faked, with soft chords arpeggiated slowly, loud chords rapidly arpeggiated. Adding and subtracting ranks of strings also helped.

The piano is a close relative of the hammered dulcimer, just like the harpsichord is related to the psaltery. The way his fingers hit the strings is how the clavichord operates. The clavichord's action enables several keys to share a string, also permits vibrato. Its only weakness is its extremely soft tone.
