instead take lord krishna's advice - be as the ocean, which becomes filled but remains unmoved and stands still as the waters enters it. even when the earthly desires enter you, remain unperturbed and unmoved by them. never give in and become a slave of your fiery emotions. only then you will attain peace.

pronunciation in sanskrit is as important as pronunciation is in mathematics.

mantra is not a magic spell "abracadabra" which you have to pronounce correctly for it to teach you. so many "learned" brahmanas have not opened their eyes to reality but focus on the superficial aspects of the world.

what an idiotic statement? Sanskrit has ALWAYS been pronounced, written, and spoken the SAME since antiquity. The idiotic Euro-centric so-called 'scholars' (like that kike Witzel) keep harping that Sanskrit has descended from another 'Proto-Indo-European' language but that is absolute bunk. Sanskrit, because of its unchanging nature and rigid grammatical structure, is called a 'pure' language. All languages descended FROM Sanskrit. And why 500 years ago? Sanskrit has been spoken since antiquity.

unfortunately, although one can 'read' and try to decipher the nuances of pronunciation of the various Sanskrit words, it is a futile pursuit without a guidance of a learned guru. Furthermore, Sanskrit should not be learnt by untouchables (westerners) and other unwanted elements. It is a pure language meant for dvija Brahmanas. Your statement about the irrelevance of pronunciation is so imbecilic it warrants no response.

Asking if pronunciation is really important in Sanskrit is like asking whether numbers are important in mathematics. It is integral to it! Furthermore, the gibberish of 'there is no' blah blah blah is futile when still operating in the phenomenal world.

This isn't the version by Imee Ooi. But is the pronunciation really important? After all, there is no tongue, no ear, no Buddha; there is no Sanskrit, no pronunciation; there is no "oneness". Ha ha, just kidding:))

is this song sung by Imee Ooi? She has a beautiful voice however the pronunciation is terrible. Sanskrit, especially mantras, require precise pronunciation and intonation; hence having the onerous status of 'very difficult' to learn (Sanskrit)! Nonetheless, great 'song'. I like her "Heart Sutra" Buddhist chant in Mandarin much better mainly because she sounds natural in that.

Lord Buddha. May i free from all the suffering life of mine... may peace fall in my life... may Lord Buddha save me from the darkness.. and may Lord Buddha forgive me for what i have done wrong....
