Born in Manisa in 1980

Graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Drama Department, Demet Evgar began her theatrical career playing in Ray Cooney's It Runs in the Family; at the age of 17 in Afsem, an amateur theatre in Manisa.

While studying in Conservatory, she established Theatre Kılçık with her friends, where she also began a writing career.

As of today, she plays with The Kent Players (Kent Oyuncuları), where she received various awards for her performances;

For her performance as Judith in The Night Season she received;
*Afife Jale Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award
*Best Actress in a Supporting Role from VI. Lions
*Best Actress from GSÜ in 2006

For her performance as Kitty & Seryoşa in Anna Karannina, she received;
*12th Sadri Alışık Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Nació en Manisa en 1980.
Graduada en el Departamento de Drama del Conservatorio de la Universidad de Estambul.
Demet Evgar comenzó su estudios teatrales actuando en la obra de Ray Cooney; "It Runs in the Family". Durante sus estudios en el conservatorio, junto con compañeros de estudios creó el grupo de teatro "Kilcik" donde comenzó sus estudios como escritora. Actualmente se encuentra dentro de la compañía de actores de Kent Oyunculari. Ha recivido diferentes premios:

Oyunculuga ilk defa 17 yasinda Manisa'da amator bir topluluk olan Afsem Tiyatrosunda Roy Cooney'in "Kac Baba Kac" adlı oyunuyla basladı. Konservatuar yillarinda kurduklari Tiyatro Kilcik'ta hem yazarlik hem oyunculuk yapan Demet Evgar su anda Kenter Tiyatrosu oyuncusu..
